Chinese New Year 2022 – Factories holidays notice

Chinese New Year is around the corner and factories will close 2 weeks to let all their staff enjoy this time with their families.

Production will be paused during the holidays and will resume the same after it.

Official holidays are from the 1st of February to the 7th of February.

Holiday Schedule for Factories

Each factory will close at a different time, but they all reopen the same. The 7th of February.

Closing will be between the 20th and the 25th of January. With offices open until the 30th of January

Because it’s really hard to forecast the pipeline state, I would say all orders placed before the 15th are having good chances to be delivered on time. But it’s a forecast!

Worst case scenario, the order is not ready and will be ready a few days after the end of the holidays.

Our recommendations

Maybe in the past the delay to have the factory 100% running was quite long, now it’s no longer the case. Holidays are shorter and factories don’t want to have the facilities closed for too long.

If you can wait an extra 10 days pretty much, place your order whenever you want after the cut-off. Orders will be resumed in the same order position as they arrived and it’s best to be on top of the line when things are running again.
